Responsibilities

Organic Synthetic Chemistry - Perform organic and organometallic synthesis to prepare new molecular structures and materials relevant to the research project.
Laboratory Experiments & Characterization - Conduct experiments and analyze samples using NMR, MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, electrochemistry, and other standard characterization techniques.
Data Analysis & Documentation - Collect, interpret, and document experimental data; maintain accurate laboratory records; prepare research summaries and technical notes.
Research Reporting & Dissemination - Assist in preparing manuscripts, presentations, and progress reports for internal use, NSF deliverables, and scientific publication.
Collaboration & Student Mentoring - Work collaboratively with faculty, research partners, and students; provide guidance and training to undergraduate and graduate researchers in laboratory techniques and safety.
Performs other duties as assigned.
