Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent international degree) or enrolled in a PhD program.
• No more than three years of post-PhD research experience by start date.
• Experience in mechanism design, game theory, general equilibrium theory and decision theory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in seminars and regular research meetings.
• Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Disseminate research results to the broader scientific community in conferences and seminars.
• Independently develop a research portfolio and collaborate on mentored research with a Berkeley faculty member.
• If desired, apply to the open lecturer pool; teaching would be under a separate lecturer appointment.
