Job summary

MSD is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in West Point, PA to advance AI/ML-based antigen design for vaccines. You will design algorithms, leverage protein language models and MD data, and collaborate with experimental teams to refine models in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, CS, Biophysics, Computational Chemistry or related quantitative discipline.
• PhD expected by Spring 2027 acceptable.
• Strong publication track record in biomolecular modeling or computational biology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, benchmark, and deploy AI/ML workflows for antigen design and conformational stabilization.
• Integrate MD simulations and energetic modeling with deep learning representations.
• Collaborate with experimental groups for data-driven model refinement.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Translate computational breakthroughs into translatable vaccine designs.
