Qualifications

  • Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.
  • No specific work experience is required for this position.
  • Background in immunology and bioinformatic skills encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Manages their own project, which should lead to a first author publication.
  • Develops proficiency with mouse models of immune dysregulation and designing experiments to investigate mechanisms leading to immune dysregulation.
  • Acquires enhanced skills in writing, public speaking, and critical evaluation of scientific documents.
  • Presents scientific work both inside and outside the institution.
  • Assists with grant preparation and reporting and submits training grant applications to support their work.
  • Prepares and submits papers on research. Assists in the design of research experiments.
  • Evaluates research findings and assists in the reporting of the results.
