Job summary

The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to work at the intersection of molecular biology and bioinformatics, using single-cell multiomics to understand HIV reservoir epigenetics and latency reversal strategies.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in immunology, cell/molecular biology, or bioinformatics, strong wet-lab skills, experience with single-cell assays and NGS, and proficiency in Python/R; apply with CV, cover letter and references to Dr.

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology, cell/molecular biology, or bioinformatics required.
• Experience with single-cell assays and epigenetic assays is highly desirable.
• At least one first-author peer-reviewed publication.

Responsibilities

• Perform single-cell multiomics experiments to understand HIV reservoir epigenetics.
• Conduct tissue culture and molecular biology assays (PCR, qPCR, ddPCR).
• Apply bioinformatics analyses using Python/R in Unix environments.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation and collaborate with the Wu lab.
