• Experience on engineering or scientific research teams.
• Desirable: microelectronic packaging development experience, harsh environment testing, CAD software.
• Other requested skills include machine learning, programming for instrumentation, and autonomous experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials and novel microelectronic packaging for use in harsh environments.
• Coordinate manufacture and testing of candidate packaging solutions.
• Publish high-quality technical research articles.
• Collaborate with a broad research team and communicate progress at meetings and conferences.
• Engage with Sandia's nanotechnology and microfabrication facilities to reach project goals.
