Morishita Lab for Developing Minds at the Friedman Brain Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow to explore neural circuit mechanisms underlying cognitive development and their dysregulation in psychiatric disorders.
The successful candidate will investigate how neuromodulatory systems shape frontal cortical circuits involved in cognitive control.
Qualifications
- In vivo electrophysiology (particularly desirable).
- Behavioral neuroscience, especially optogenetics or in vivo imaging
- Systems neuroscience and quantitative analysis of neural and behavioral data
