The Neurophysiology and Cognition Lab led by Dr. Shlomit Beker, PhD, invites applications for a postdoctoral position. The research is done on electrophysiological data (EEG and recordings from the periphery) collected through computerized and social tasks, from individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. The Beker lab at the Seaver Autism Center studies children and adults with autism and rare genetic disorders, and how they interact with their immediate environment. We apply advanced signal analysis approaches to address questions on cognition and social interaction in these clinical populations.
The postdoc will assist in studying the biological underpinnings of autism and rare genetic disorders, contributing to data collection, analysis, publication, and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
