Job summary

The Papagiannakopoulos Lab at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to investigate genetic, metabolic, and physiological mechanisms driving lung cancer initiation, progression, and resistance.

In vivo CRISPR screening, GEMMs, cancer metabolism, tumor immunology, and systems physiology will be leveraged to dissect oncogenic mutations and tumor microenvironment interactions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead in vivo CRISPR screening projects and mouse cancer model studies.
• Publish findings in leading scientific journals and contribute to collaborative studies.
• Develop independent research directions and seek career development awards.
