Job summary

The University of Texas at El Paso invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral researcher in the Teacher Education Department. This NSF-funded project focuses on the intersection of K-12 computer science education and research–practice partnerships, aiming to build capacity of recent PhD graduates in education.

Qualifications

• PhD in Learning Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, Education Policy, Curriculum Theory, STEM Education, or related field.
• Strong ability to plan, organize, and oversee research projects and communicate findings.
• Experience with human subjects research and IRB processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct lines of inquiry in K-12 CS education, teaching practice, or policy.
• Write IRB applications and obtain approvals.
• Collect and analyze education-related qualitative and quantitative data.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students and disseminate findings.
