Job summary

The University of Texas at El Paso invites applications for a full-time Post Doctoral position in Teacher Education, funded by an NSF project. The role focuses on K-12 CS education, research-practice partnerships, and developing doctoral-ready researchers.

Under supervision, the Post Doctoral will design and conduct research, mentor student researchers, and contribute to external funding proposals while maintaining laboratory safety and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• PhD in Education or related field required.
• Strong background in research design, data collection, and data analysis.
• Experience with K-12 education research or CS education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement research projects.
• Contribute to data collection, analysis, and interpretation of findings.
• Mentor students and junior researchers in project activities.
• Prepare technical reports, conference papers, and grant proposals.
• Ensure compliance with IRB processes and data security.
• Contribute to dissemination of results to professional audiences.
