Job summary

The Haber Lab in the Department of Environmental Health at Harvard University is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in social and environmental epidemiology. The work will use geospatial analysis to understand exposures contributing to respiratory disease burden in cities.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in public health, epidemiology, data science, statistics or other quantitative field.
• Experience in geospatial analysis and Bayesian disease mapping.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present research clearly.
• Excellent problem solving and quantitative analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects in the lab using geospatial approaches on city-wide data derived from electronic health records and municipal sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, pulmonologists and immunologists to collect data, generate hypotheses and plan analyses.
