Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in computational biology, machine learning, data science, or another quantitative field.
• Strong background in computational or statistical work if coming from biology/medical science.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience presenting research.
• Excellent problem solving and quantitative analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects using computational and systems biology to analyze high-dimensional sequencing data from human lungs and mouse models.
• Develop new statistical methods and algorithms to map cellular communication and immune interactions in the lungs.
• Collaborate with computational scientists, clinicians, pulmonologists and immunologists to formulate hypotheses and plan experiments.
