Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is recruiting a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in Endocrinology to study extracellular vesicles and their RNA cargos in obesity-related metabolic and inflammatory diseases. The candidate will use mouse and cell culture models, perform RNA analyses, and engage with human clinical samples under NIH R01 funding.

Applicants should have a recent PhD/MD, strong publication history, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in related discipline, MD, or equivalent required.
• Experience in molecular biology, RNA biology, or immunology preferred.
• Strong publication record and ability to work with mouse and cell culture models.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and record laboratory experiments, and analyze the data.
• Research and improve current methods and evaluate innovative techniques.
• Present research at lab meetings, seminars, and journals.
• Draft, write, and edit scientific reports, papers, and grants.
• Maintain currency in the field through education and seminars.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with policies and procedures.
