The microMechanics of Deformation (mMOD) group at Rutgers University seeks a postdoctoral researcher in crystalline interfaces, dislocation theory, molecular dynamics simulations, and ductile fracture of metals. Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or related field required.
• Knowledge of mechanical behavior of materials and materials modeling (e.g., MD, DDD, FEM) preferred.
• Experience with high-performance computing and simulations is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Execute research tasks: code development, simulations, and data analysis.
• Lead and mentor undergraduate/graduate students in the group.
• Support ideation and proposal development with the PI and partners.
