• Ph.D. in a relevant STEM field completed within the last five years (or expected by start date).
• Hands-on laboratory experience with molecular biology techniques and cell culturing.
• Strong peer-reviewed publication record for career stage.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance (U.S. citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Perform protein structural modeling and design to improve enzymatic activity.
• Conduct computational analysis of structures and dynamics to identify target mutations.
• Assist in experimental validation including cloning, expression, purification.
• Communicate results effectively in written, graphical, and oral formats.
