Job summary

University of Delaware seeks a Post Doctoral Researcher in the College of Health Sciences to coordinate NIH/NSF funded clinical research on grammar intervention and DLD. The role supports data analysis, documentation, and ethical conduct, with potential independent research development.

Qualifications

• Earned research doctorate in speech-language pathology, psychology, linguistics, cognitive science, or related field by hire date.
• Experience setting up workflows for cleaning and analyzing large complex datasets in R.
• Commitment to open science and increasing research engagement, including groups underrepresented in research.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support data cleaning and analysis following open science practices.
• Update and maintain study documentation.
• Ensure research and clinical service is conducted ethically.
• Support participant recruitment and retention efforts (as needed).
• Assess children with DLD within a research protocol.
• Coordinate lab activities and participate in grant writing.
