Job summary

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Shapiro Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School conducts studies on CDK inhibitors in ER+ breast cancer and CDK4-dependent cancers, aiming to reverse resistance. Located in Boston with collaboration across Harvard-affiliated centers.

The role emphasizes experimental design and execution, data interpretation, and dissemination through presentations and publications, with potential supervision of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Ph.Ds or M.D./Ph.Ds with a solid background in cell cycle biology and an interest in translational research are encouraged to apply.
• Only candidates with demonstrated ability for completing complex research projects during their Ph.D. and significant experience in standard laboratory techniques (including flow cytometry, tissue culture, PCR, western blots, etc.) will be considered.
• Experience with CRISPR and/or drug sensitivity screens, as well as work in patient-derived xenograft models will be helpful.
