Job summary

The Cantor Lab, newly relocated to Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, invites a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our multidisciplinary team. You will investigate how metabolic conditions influence human cell behavior, with emphasis on cancer and immunity, using our synthetic physiologic media and bioreactor platforms.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent at appointment in biochemistry, biotechnology, cancer/cell biology, bioengineering, or related field.
• Preferred experience with mammalian cell culture, CRISPR-based genome editing, and molecular metabolism.
• Demonstrated ability to publish work during doctoral training.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments; perform data analysis.
• Prepare manuscripts and assist with grant proposals.
• Mentor junior trainees and collaborate with collaborators in a biomedical ecosystem.
• Maintain a safe, organized lab environment and routine protocols.
