Job summary

The Scripps Research Institute is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in Cell Biology & Chemical Biology to join an early-stage discovery group at Calibr-Skaggs.

The candidate will independently and collaboratively lead projects in biochemistry and protein engineering, focusing on discovering and optimizing toxin-neutralizing antibodies and monobodies for human therapeutics within a full drug-discovery pipeline.

Qualifications

• PhD required in biochemistry/chemical biology or related field.
• Strong track record of research productivity and publications.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, analyze and troubleshoot biochemical and molecular biology experiments.
• Lead research projects and present results to leadership and project teams.
• Develop and optimize toxin-neutralizing antibodies and monobodies for therapeutic use.
• Maintain detailed reports and communicate findings clearly to colleagues.
