Job summary

The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Center for Advanced Therapeutics (CAT) to develop AI-based and physics-based computational methods for drug discovery. The successful candidate will work with Dr.

Guangfeng Zhou on projects spanning AI model development, protein-ligand modeling, docking and binding-affinity prediction, and large-scale virtual screening, with opportunities to collaborate with experimental teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong computational background with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication.
  • Experience in machine learning/deep learning, molecular modeling, or related areas is desirable.
  • Willingness to collaborate across computational and experimental teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply AI and physics-based computational methods for drug discovery.
  • Work on protein-ligand modeling, docking, and binding-affinity prediction.
  • Conduct large-scale virtual screening and collaborate with experimental researchers.
