Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System in New York, NY invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Machine Learning, AI, and Computational Biology focused on human disease genomics. • Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctorate in computational biology, human genetics, disease genomics, population genetics, bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming (Python) and statistical computing (R).
• Excellent publication record.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the successful candidate under Dr. Yuval Itan and enable work with unmatched data and computational resources.
• Work with Mount Sinai Data Warehouse, MSM biobank and international collaborations to deploy models into clinical research.
• Develop and lead research projects and contribute to high-impact conferences.
