Job summary

The Laboratory at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, part of Advocate Health, is seeking two Postdoctoral Researchers to join an NIH-funded interdisciplinary program in artificial intelligence, medical imaging, computational pathology, and precision oncology.

Qualifications

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Statistics, or closely related field.
• Strong background in ML, DL, CV, or multimodal AI.
• Ability to conduct independent research in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML/DL methods for medical imaging and computational pathology.
• Design/implement/evaluate AI algorithms on large radiology, pathology, genomic, transcriptomic, and clinical data.
• Publish research in biomedical and AI venues; present at conferences.
• Mentor students and research staff; foster interdisciplinary collaborations.
