North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a Post Doc Research Associate to conduct research in AI-enhanced cybersecurity, trustworthy and explainable AI, adversarial machine learning, and related areas.

The successful candidate will publish in peer-reviewed venues, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, participate in seminars, and help develop proposals to expand externally funded research in AI, autonomous systems, cyber resilience, and quantum technologies.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Data Science and Engineering, or a closely related field.
• U.S. Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in AI-enhanced cybersecurity, trustworthy and explainable AI, and adversarial machine learning.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings in collaboration with the Faculty Lead.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students and participate in seminars and professional activities.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of workshops and seminars and assist in proposals for externally funded research.
• Collaborate with faculty, students, and external partners to advance AI, autonomous systems, cyber resilience, and quantum technologies.

Education

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Data Science and Engineering, or a closely related field
