The role emphasizes practical AI design, empirical evaluation, and collaboration with researchers and students.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, AI or Cybersecurity.
• Strong programming background in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with agentic AI and HPC environments is preferred.
• Hands-on with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Experience applying AI to cybersecurity tasks such as threat detection or incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with the deployment and configuration of a standalone HPC lab.
• Architect, implement, and evaluate agentic AI frameworks for threat detection and mitigation.
• Design, build, and evaluate agentic AI systems for cybersecurity use cases.
• Execute empirical evaluations to benchmark AI performance and privacy safeguards.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate researchers and publish high-impact manuscripts.
