Trinity College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in postcolonial Francophone Studies, starting July 1, 2027. Qualifications

• PhD in French and Francophone Studies required by July 1, 2027.
• Native or near-native fluency in French and English.
• Desirable knowledge of additional languages (Arabic, Wolof, Haitian Creole).

Responsibilities

• Expand course offerings in postcolonial Francophone studies.
• Teach courses in French language and francophone literature.
• Provide English-language courses supporting African/Caribbean Studies on campus.
• Participate in the service of the department.
