Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando seeks a dedicated role to organize and schedule appointments, tests and consultations with transplant teams, surgeons and cardiologists. You will assess eligibility for advanced therapy and coordinate initial referrals and evaluations for recipients or donors.

You will educate patients and families about treatment pathways, maintain accurate records, and support post-treatment care while collaborating with providers to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English with physicians, patients and staff of varied backgrounds in a respectful, effective and professional manner.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Autonomous, self-directed work style with high complexity and intensity while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments, tests and consultations with transplant teams, surgeons and cardiologists.
• Assess patient eligibility for advanced therapy or transplantation through records review and preliminary tests.
• Coordinate referral processing and evaluations for recipients, living donors or VAD patients.
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes, risks, benefits and post-treatment care.
