ABOUT THE ROLE

This opportunity sits within the PostTrade team of a leading quantitative trading firm, spanning Global Funding & Clearing, Middle Office, and Product Control functions, and offering a high-impact strategy and infrastructure mandate at the intersection of operations, technology, and global trading expansion. The role combines ownership of strategic optimization initiatives evaluating and improving existing processes, relationships, and systems with a forward-looking build mandate: designing scalable onboarding infrastructure, deploying advanced post-trade technologies, and architecting the data and systems framework needed to support new asset classes, exchanges, and complex trading initiatives globally. With deep involvement across prime broker relationships, internal development teams, and external vendors, this is the right seat for a senior PostTrade professional with 5+ years of hands-on operational experience who combines expert-level knowledge of the global trade lifecycle with strong cross-functional communication skills, a technology-forward mindset, and the ownership mentality to drive end-to-end execution in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment. A mix of buy-side and sell-side experience is strongly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead initiatives to evaluate and improve existing PostTrade processes, relationships, and systems
• proactively identify opportunities for strategic improvement, automation, and growth across HRT's PostTrade functionsDesign and develop scalable onboarding processes to reduce go-to-market time for new trading initiatives globally
• architect the infrastructure required to support new asset classes, exchanges, and complex trading productsEvaluate and deploy advanced post-trade technologies and risk controls
• work closely with the PostTrade Tech team to define requirements and build solutions that strategically optimize the firm's existing setupDrive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to devise and implement new global strategic optimizations across the PostTrade platform
• Serve as the subject matter expert on PostTrade data architecture
• collaborate with development teams to optimize the cataloging and ingestion of external data facilitating consolidated and standardized sources for reconciliation, reporting, and analyticsBuild and strengthen relationships with prime brokers to facilitate platform needs and act in the best interests of the firm
• serve as a key point of contact for prime broker strategy across a multi-strategy global trading operationNavigate and negotiate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on complex problems ranging from internal developers building trading systems to external vendors and sell-side counterparties
