Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for the Post‑Surgical Unit. The RN will plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care for post‑surgical patients in line with accepted standards of care.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of RN experience in Medical/Surgical or ICU with telemetry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Texas RN License is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• At least 1 year RN experience in hospital Medical/Surgical or ICU preferred.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for post‑surgical patients.
• Ensure high quality, safe patient care and compliance with nursing standards and Joint Commission requirements.
• Respond to patients with healthcare needs and perform Medical Screening Exams as delegated.
