Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking a Post-Surgical Services Technician to join our team. The schedule is 6am to 2pm, with on-call every 6-7 weeks and travel required.

You will deliver equipment ordered by physicians, train patients in use, and discuss co-insurance and co-pays with patients. You’ll follow up to ensure satisfaction and arrange pickup for rental items, while collaborating with the Post-Surgical Sales Manager to ensure exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provides thorough instructions on how to use equipment to patient and family.
• Picks up equipment in a timely manner.
• Travels to patients’ homes, hospitals, nursing homes, PT/OT clinics.
• Calls patients prior to surgery to describe products ordered for them; explain financial responsibilities.
• Collects co-insurance payments from patients.
• Communicates with patients providing them with co-insurance amounts and collects co-pays.
• Follows up with patients to ensure their satisfaction with the products and arranges pick-up for rental items.
• Works closely with the Post-Surgical Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
