Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• One year experience preferred.
• NA I and NA II certification required; NA registry as NA I in good standing; NA II certification with state.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for ED/Behavioral Health units.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to post-surgical and medically complex patients.
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from various procedures.
• Monitor for complications and communicate changes to the care team.
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care supporting safe transitions home.
