Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking a Post-Silicon Power and Performance Validation Engineer to drive power and performance validation for custom silicon in gaming platforms. You will develop test plans with architects, firmware, and IP teams, run studies in lab environments, and analyze data to ensure product specs are met.

This role requires experience validating power or performance features of CPUs/GPUs/APUs, familiarity with graphics workloads, and comfort working across international teams

Qualifications

• Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs, GPUs, or APUs.
• Familiarity with graphics, core, and gaming-focused workloads.
• Familiarity with data acquisition and thermal equipment.
• Experience analyzing and presenting data using Power BI, Sigma, or similar.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multi-site technical organization.
• Recent years of PC and/or power and performance experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop testplans in collaboration with architects, firmware, and IP teams to ensure products meet performance targets.
• Support current and future products with architects and business teams.
• Execute power and performance studies to support business development.
• Validate and tune product features post-silicon.
• Set up and debug systems under test.
