Job summary

scalr is hiring for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work hands-on with enterprise customers, taking advanced models from lab to production and owning technical strategy and delivery end-to-end.

You will architect agentic systems, orchestrate LLM workflows, and collaborate with research teams to tailor models to customer needs, shipping across cloud, VPC and on-prem environments. This role demands a hands-on, self-starting engineer in a fast-moving setting.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background shipping production systems.
• Comfortable deploying in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Hands-on with modern AI stacks: RAG, vector databases, agent orchestration, evals, fine-tuning.

Responsibilities

• Architecting and building agentic systems with state-of-the-art models.
• Orchestrating LLM workflows and integrating with complex enterprise infrastructure.
• Working alongside research teams to tailor models to customer needs.
• Shipping reliable systems across cloud, VPC and on-prem environments.
• Helping write the playbook for a growing FDE org from the ground up.
