Job summary

Goldcrest Post, a premier post-production house in New York, seeks an on-site Engineering professional to oversee critical infrastructure for picture finishing, sound, ADR, and editorial suites. You will ensure reliable, secure, high-performance workflows across Linux, MacOS, and Windows environments while supporting color grading rooms and media routing.

The role emphasizes rapid engineering responses, cross-team collaboration, and maintaining cutting-edge post workflows with DaVinci Resolve,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Experience with PCoIP clients.
• Bash or PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
• Experience with Resolve, Aspera or Signiant Media Shuttle, and Avid hardware/software offerings.
• Knowledge of Dolby Vision color processing pipeline is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize network performance for facility and remote requirements.
• Provide network-related sales engineering support to colleagues and clients.
• Deploy and maintain firewalls for onsite and remote use cases.
• Support Linux configuration and deployment of services.
• Manage Open Drives storage hardware to improve reliability and performance.
• Implement improvements for networking performance and media workflows.
• Support and troubleshoot DaVinci Resolve, Colorfront Transkoder, Avid and related tools.
• Maintain OS systems (Linux, macOS, Windows) and color grading room setups.
• Provide rapid response engineering support for internal, external, and client needs.
