Job summary

Slate Auto is seeking a Post Production Producer to own the pipeline turning raw footage into on-brand assets. You’ll manage in-house and freelance editors, colorists, and VFX artists, ensuring projects move on schedule and meet brand standards across e-commerce and internal communications.

The role requires fluency in DaVinci Resolve workflows, cloud collaboration, and strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple concurrent projects within a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of post production experience, ideally in-house at a brand, agency, or production company
• Deep working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve across edit, color, and VFX and Fusion workflows
• Experience managing freelance post production talent and understanding standard rates and deals
• Comfort running cloud-based editing and review pipelines and video hosting platforms
• Experience with DAM platforms and asset metadata best practices
• Experience with production tracking tools like Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or Monday

Responsibilities

• Own post production scheduling and workflow for multiple projects across video, photo, and motion content
• Source, vet, and manage freelance editors, colorists, and VFX artists
• Manage end-to-end post workflow in DaVinci Resolve including cloud collaboration
• Oversee cloud-based editing, review platforms, and remote collaboration
• Maintain SOPs for retouch tiers, edit workflows, color pipelines, and VFX handoffs
• Track project status, deadlines, and deliverables in Smartsheet
• Coordinate with shoot producers to organize assets for post
• Manage ingest, QC, and delivery into Brandfolder with metadata
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and propose improvements
• Partner with Creative Director and EP on final sign-off
• Manage versioning, revisions, and approvals across teams
