This is a Full Time position in the field of Post Production - Editing, Compositing, Motion Graphics, & Visual Effects, located in Jersey City, NJ.

The employer is CSI Sports.

CSI SPORTS is seeking a Broadcast Post-Production Associate Producer/Video Editor who will be a key member of the production team. This position in our Jersey City office will report to the VP of Production and will utilize their expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite as we develop new content, including documentaries, for domestic and international channel distribution as well as for digital platforms. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of digital tools, a passion for combat sports (especially boxing), a creative eye, and work well in both an individual and team environment.

Responsibilities

1. Create, prep & edit content for original boxing documentary series.
2. Research & write scripts for original documentaries.
3. Edit footage according to scripts, formats & production guidelines.
4. Create and edit graphics for broadcast & digital using Adobe After Effects & Photoshop.
5. Write & Edit Daily News video segment for social platforms and for broadcast.
6. Write show scripts & voice over notes.
7. Create (write and edit) promo spots for air.
8. Edit cutdowns and highlights from Live Events.
9. Deliver final productions to the required specifications.
10. View shows prior to air to ensure there are no technical/creative issues.
11. Attend Live Events & media week events including public workouts, weigh-ins, and press conferences to conduct interviews and obtain footage.
12. Monitor live events to ensure flawless execution & edit live highlights.

Experience

1. At least 3 years post-production experience producing, editing & creating graphics for a post-production house or network.
2. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).
3. Must have knowledge of the sport of boxing.
4. Have edited shows & promos for broadcast & digital.
5. Know how to normalize audio, create a mix minus & edit shows to different specs.
6. Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
8. Works well in a fast-paced and changing environment.
9. Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.).
10. Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Bachelor’s degree (Communications, TV/Film Production, or related field of study) or equivalent practical experience.
12. Able to work typical production hours in order to hit deadlines and work on live events that will include nights, weekends, etc. as needed.
