Job summary

Beehive Industries in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking a Post Processing Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will perform support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks on metal parts, and operate post-processing equipment such as bandsaws, EDMs, and hand tools.

You will follow quality control procedures, document work, and maintain safe, organized work areas while complying with aerospace standards and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in manufacturing, machining, or hands-on technical role.
• Familiarity with MES and computer-based systems (Microsoft Office, SmartSheets, etc.).
• Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Willingness to wear PPE including respirators and protective clothing.
• Ability to work overtime or shift schedules as required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.

Role Overview

Beehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for Post Processing Operator. This position is a manufacturing operator position intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities. The hours are Monday- Thursday 6am-4:30pm.

What You’ll Do

You have

• Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers)
• Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions
• Willingness to wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothing
• Ability to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demands
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
