Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Post Processing Operator in Knoxville, TN to support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of metal parts. You will operate multiple post-processing machines and hand tools while maintaining strict quality control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or hands-on technical role
• Familiarity with MES systems and computer-based tools (MS Office, SmartSheets, etc.)
• Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices
• Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions
• Willingness to wear PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothing
• Ability to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demands
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to maintain aerospace quality and safety standards
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance required

Role Overview

Beehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for Post Processing Operator. This position is a manufacturing operator position intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities. The hours are Thursday-Sunday 6am-4:30pm.

What You'll Do

• Perform support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of metal parts

You have

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Physical Requirements

• Remain in a standing or sitting stationary position for 3-4 hours per day (1-2 hours at one time)
