Indiana Printing and Publishing Company, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Post Press Bindery Operator to set up, operate, and maintain bindery and finishing equipment to meet customer specs and quality standards.

The role involves reading job tickets, operating post-press machinery, inspecting finished samples, performing routine maintenance, and packaging completed materials for shipment. Safety and teamwork are emphasized, with hours 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating bindery and finishing equipment in a commercial printing environment; training provided.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail for quality assurance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical instructions.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Team player and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Read job tickets to determine finishing specs and set up post-press machinery.
• Operate cutters, folders, stitchers, and binders; ensure accuracy.
• Inspect samples for quality before, during, and after finishing.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Package and prepare completed materials for shipping.
• Coordinate with press operators and shipping staff to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment.
