Job summary

Cypress Surgery Center in Wichita, KS is seeking an RN for Recovery to provide nursing care for post-operative patients in a same-day surgery setting. You will assume responsibility for patient care per physician orders and center policies, with ongoing monitoring of supplies and charging accuracy.

Required qualifications include a nursing degree, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to post-operative patients in a same-day surgery setting.
• Monitors and documents patient status, vitals, and responses to treatments.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
