Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our clinical team. The CNA will admit patients to the unit, provide post-operative nursing care, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.

Responsibilities include timely patient care, accurate documentation, and following physician orders, while supporting patients and families and maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school and certification (CNA)
• Previous post-surgical care experience
• Current BLS

Responsabilités

• Assists with admitting the patient to the unit and prepares him/her for the scheduled procedure
• Completes patient care responsibilities in a timely manner with accurate documentation
• Implements doctor’s orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Educates patients and family
• Provides patient and family members emotional support as necessary
• Documents patient care delivered, accurately in the medical record
• Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with patients, families, visitors, and center employees
