Job summary

RMWBH Law in San Antonio is seeking a Post-Judgment Litigation Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience to support our growing practice. The role offers one remote workday per week after one year with the firm and two remote days per week after two years.

The candidate should have strong MS Office skills, team-oriented mindset, and excellent communication, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Litigation Paralegal and Post-Judgment Paralegal.
• Applicable knowledge of judicial foreclosure procedures, motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
• Experience with District and County Court systems.
• Experience working with constables and sheriffs in facilitating judicial foreclosure sales.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments.
• Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court.
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc).
• Coordinate with constable or sheriff for judicial foreclosure sales.
• Calculate payoff amounts and/or negotiate payment plans with defendants or judgment debtors.

Join RMWBH Law's growing POA team as a Post-Judgment Litigation Paralegal. We are seeking a motivated professional with at least three years of experience to support our expanding practice. This role is based in our San Antonio office and offers the opportunity for one remote workday per week after one year with the firm and two remote days a week after two years with the firm.

Qualified candidates will have strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office, desire to work as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment, ability to follow through on tasks to successful completion, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proven working experience as a Litigation Paralegal and Post-Judgment Paralegal
• Applicable knowledge of judicial foreclosure procedures, motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc

• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
