Job summary

Trulieve in Monticello, FL is seeking a Post Harvest Technician II to join the Cultivation team. You will harvest, weigh, dry, cure, and trim cannabis; work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

This role reports to the Harvest Supervisor and requires 9+ months in Tech 1, adherence to SOP/cGMP cleanliness, and a safety-conscious mindset. Compensation is hourly with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Must be proficient and achieve goals in all Post Harvest Tech 1 skill assessments.
Must be active in the Post Harvest Tech 1 role for minimum of 9 months to qualify for Post Harvest Tech 2 role.
Knowledge and understanding of cannabis handling including harvesting, drying, curing, and trimming.
Maintain good discipline and attendance standards.
Ability to work hands on with cannabis plant material daily.
Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the production department as needed/requested by the direct supervisor.
Ability to work as a team unit while completing tasks and creating constructive collaboration with members of other departments.
Create a proactive environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Self-motivated, innovative, and a team player.
Excellent time management skills, driving efficiency and productivity to ensure goals are consistently met while maintaining high quality finished product.
Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations.
Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Harvesting, weighing, drying, curing, and trimming cannabis material as part of the post-harvest process.
Participates in harvesting, intaking, drying, curing, trimming, and transfer of cannabis material.
Defoliation of the plants as needed.
Maintain compliance using a centralized tracking system.
Documenting testing results through reports and logs.
Inputting data into the company database.
Quality control as product moves through the process.
Operate equipment per SOP and cgMP standards.
Weigh and dispose of plant waste material.
Ensure material/product is accounted for per policy.
