This role ensures that all finished cannabis products meet quality, weight, and labeling standards before vault transfer or distribution, while maintaining accurate METRC seed-to-sale tracking throughout the post-harvest workflow. • Monitor and document environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow) in drying and curing environments
  • Ensure all finished products are accurately weighed, labeled, and sealed in compliance with DCC retail packaging requirements
  • Coordinate harvest handoffs from the Cultivation team, verifying batch integrity and METRC tag accuracy at intake
  • Manage vault transfers and ensure product readiness for distribution in coordination with the compliance team
Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Directly supervise Dry Room Leads, Dry Room Technicians, and Packaging Specialists across post-harvest operations
  • Conduct onboarding, role‑specific training, and ongoing performance coaching for all direct reports
  • Create and manage weekly staffing schedules to align with production volume and regulatory deadlines
  • Facilitate shift handoffs, daily production meetings, and cross‑departmental coordination as needed
  • Address performance concerns through documentation and coordination with HR in accordance with company policy
METRC & Compliance

  • Maintain departmental compliance with Ohio Administrative Code 1301:18, DCC licensing conditions, and King City Gardens' SOPs
  • Prepare records and documentation for state regulatory inspections and internal compliance audits
  • Verify all DCC‑required batch numbers, warning labels, and compliance statements on finished product packaging
  • Identify and immediately report any compliance discrepancies to the Compliance Manager
