Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings seeks a Post-Harvest Lead to supervise a small team and manage day-to-day post-harvest work in a regulated cannabis environment. You will train staff, enforce SOPs, and ensure proper harvesting, drying, curing, bucking, and packaging while maintaining clean, compliant facilities.

The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold strict inventory controls and quality standards in a fast-paced cultivation setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while following complex production and harvest schedules.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks required in a commercial cultivation environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to follow instructions, work effectively with peers, meet deadlines, and comply with all state regulatory cannabis requirements.
• Comfortable working environments with high humidity, strong plant odors, and fluctuating temperatures.
• Willingness to wear PPE and to follow sanitation and safety standards.
• Ability to reliably travel to and from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise Post-Harvest Associates, ensuring SOPs and policies are followed.
• Oversee post-harvest procedures from harvesting through bulk packaging, including drying, curing, and packaging.
• Maintain accurate records, support KPI data collection, and ensure timely documentation.
• Operate and maintain post-harvest equipment, stock supplies, and ensure sanitation and organization.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, licensing requirements, and state regulations.
