Job summary

FBi Buildings is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman / Field Crew Supervisor to lead building projects across Sandwich, Illinois and the surrounding Northern Illinois area. You will run a crew, read a set of plans, solve field problems, and grab a tool when required to keep the project on schedule.

Ideal candidates have post-frame or related framing experience and a track record of safely delivering quality work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction crews and coordinating field activities.
• Ability to read plans and interpret drawings accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges.
• Willingness to work in Sandwich, IL and surrounding Northern Illinois area.

Responsibilities

• Lead building projects and manage field crews to ensure quality and safety.
• Read and interpret sets of plans and specifications.
• Identify and solve field issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Utilize carpentry tools and equipment as needed on site.
• Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to ensure successful completion.
