Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking driven construction crew members to learn and apply safety and construction procedures across buildings. You will read plans, perform repairs, and assemble components to meet quality standards.

Position involves 20% travel, lifting up to 100 pounds, and occasional extended hours during peak season. A driver’s license is preferred and training opportunities are available. Excellent teamwork and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• 20% travel with possible overnight trips.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow construction plans.
• Physically demanding work with lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings safety and construction procedures.
• Build according to construction plans and execute tasks for quality buildings.
• Repair doors, windows, roofing, gutters, and other components.
• Operate tools safely and maintain equipment.
• Adapt to varying weather and shift schedules.
• Collaborate with crew to organize materials and daily activities.
• Troubleshoot or problem solve on site.
• Be open to advancement.
