Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join a field team dedicated to repairing and maintaining post-frame constructions.

You will follow strict safety procedures, read construction plans, and execute detailed tasks such as door, roofing, and siding repairs while working with a crew to complete projects efficiently. The role requires physical ability, travel up to 25%, and a willingness to participate in training.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame) or carpentry/framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Capable of lifting up to 50–100 lb and heights up to 40 ft.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures and standards daily.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Perform repairs and maintenance including doors, roofing, siding, and footings.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule and varying weather conditions.
• Collaborate with crew to stay organized, productive and respectful.
