Job summary
Cleary Building Corp in Idaho Falls is seeking a dedicated Carpenter to join our field crew. You will build post frame structures from the ground up, using a variety of tools, and work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
No prior post-frame experience is required; we provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and a clear path to advancement into Foreman in Training and other leadership roles. We offer competitive wages, weather and travel pay where applicable, and year-round stable employment
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Prior experience in construction or the trades is a plus – but not required.
- Willing to learn and grow in the role.
- Competitive starting wages.
- Structured pay increases at key milestones.
- Weather pay and travel pay (where applicable).
Responsibilities
- Construct post frame buildings from the ground up.
- Operate basic hand and power tools.
- Work at heights on ladders and aerial platforms (up to 35 feet).
- Deliver value and quality to clients on every project.
- Learn and develop skills in carpentry, framing, and construction.
- On-the-job training with mentors and development programs.
