Job summary

Morton Buildings in Idaho is expanding its construction crews and employee owners. Under the crew foreman you will learn safety procedures, read construction plans, and build according to specifications. The position pays $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience, with a $2000 signing/first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly bonus during year one.

ESOP and additional benefits are included. Travel 40% with physical work requirements.

Qualifications

• Building/construction experience (post-frame, carpentry or framing)
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program
• A valid driver's license is preferred
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak season
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work
• Commitment to safety procedures and operating tools safely and properly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Physically able for lifting up to 100 pounds and heights up to 40 feet
• 40% travel including overnight travel possibly up to two weeks at a time

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans
• Use various tools and equipment to construct buildings
• Perform tasks such as digging, footing installation, framing, windows/doors, siding and roofing
• Maintain a safe, organized, productive work environment with team members
